Sabres recall trio of forwards to fill void left by trades

The Buffalo Sabres have recalled three players to fill roster spots left vacant after a series of trade deadline moves.

The Sabres recalled forwards Mikhail Grigorenko, Tim Schaller and Jerry D'Amigo from their AHL affiliate in Rochester on Tuesday.

Buffalo traded Chris Stewart, Brian Flynn and Torrey Mitchell in separate deals on Monday.

Grigorenko has scored 10 goals and added 21 assists in 38 games for Rochester. D'Amigo has registered 19 points in 31 contests. Schaller has scored 15 goals and chipped in 25 assists in 55 games in the AHL this season.
