Sharks trade Freddie Hamilton to Avalanche for Karl Stollery

The San Jose Sharks have dealt forward Freddie Hamilton to the Colorado Avalanche for defenseman Karl Stollery, the Sharks announced.
Hamilton registered 43 points in 64 games with San Jose's AHL affiliate this season. He went pointless in 12 games with the NHL club over the last two campaigns.
Stollery was held pointless in seven games over two seasons with the Avalanche.
