NHL Game Summary - Boston at Montreal

Montreal, QC (SportsNetwork.com) - Drayson Bowman scored the deciding goal with 48 seconds left in regulation to give the Montreal Canadiens a 3-2 win over the Boston Bruins in the preseason lid-lifter for both teams.

Bowman added an assist on Jiri Sekac's first-period goal, one of three unanswered by Montreal after the Bruins built a 2-0 lead on early tallies by Ryan Spooner and Matt Fraser.

Montreal's Christian Thomas tied the game at 2-2 with a power-play marker with 3:11 remaining in the second period.

Joey MacDonald stopped all 14 shots he faced in relief of Dustin Tokarski to earn the win. Niklas Svedberg played the first two periods for Boston, yielding two goals on 18 chances.

Bowman's game-winner came against Malcolm Subban, the brother of Canadiens defenseman P.K. Subban.
