The Houston Texans remain the favorites to sign running back Lamar Miller, but the Dallas Cowboys are still in the running, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

The Cowboys could be priced out of the market for Miller, who appears set to leave the Miami Dolphins and cash in with a free-agent deal worth in excess of $6 million per season, reports Rapoport.

Miller rushed for 872 yards on 194 attempts (4.5 yards per carry) last season and added 47 catches for 397 yards. There's a belief among many in the football world he was misused by the Dolphins and is capable of much more production in a larger role.
