The Los Angeles Rams are making calls ahead of the 2024 NFL Draft to get into the top 10, sources told The Athletic's Dianna Russini.

The Rams hold the No. 19 overall selection ahead of the draft's opening round on Thursday. Los Angeles is set to select in the first round for the first time since 2016, when the club drafted Jared Goff with the top overall pick.

Los Angeles is aiming to move into the top portion of the first round with a specific player in mind that's not a quarterback, per Russini.

Pass-rusher Dallas Turner, tight end Brock Bowers, and a few offensive linemen highlight prospects projected to hear their names called within the first 10 picks.

The franchise is set to embark on its first season without future Hall of Fame defensive tackle Aaron Donald, who announced his retirement this offseason. Addressing needs on the interior of the defensive line and at pass-rusher could be priorities for general manager Les Snead and coach Sean McVay over the next few days.

The Rams, the Green Bay Packers, and the Arizona Cardinals possess the joint-most picks ahead of the 2024 draft, as each franchise holds 11 selections.
