Tony Romo is still facing a relatively uncertain timeline when it comes to his recovery from the collarbone injuries that ended his 2015 season.

The Dallas Cowboys quarterback will have the collarbone re-evaluated in four weeks before a final decision is made on whether he'll have surgery, according to Todd Archer of ESPN.

Recent reports suggested Romo was planning to undergo a procedure to fortify the collarbone, but a CT scan last week reportedly revealed good growth.

Either way, all signs point toward the veteran signal-caller being back to full strength well in advance of training camp this summer.

His healthy return would almost certainly give the Cowboys an opportunity to again become a contender in the volatile NFC East.
