Giants' Pugh in concussion protocol

New York Giants left guard Justin Pugh has entered the NFL's concussion protocol, the team announced Monday.

Pugh was experiencing headaches after the Giants' Week 9 victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, but an independent neurologist determined they were the result of dehydration and heat, not a concussion.

The symptoms persisted ahead of the Giants' Week 10 matchup against the New England Patriots, prompting the Giants to make him inactive.
