Ex-Alabama QB Blake Sims signs with Argos

Former Alabama quarterback Blake Sims is taking his talents to the Canadian Football League.
The Toronto Argonauts signed Sims to a three-year deal, his marketing agency, Everett Sports Marketing, announced Wednesday.
Sims completed 252-of-391 passes for 3,487 yards with 28 touchdowns and 10 interceptions as a senior with the Crimson Tide last season. He also rushed for 350 yards and seven touchdowns on 83 carries.
After going undrafted, Sims landed tryouts with the Green Bay Packers and Washington Redskins. He worked out for Washington as a running back and wide receiver, but will reportedly play quarterback for the Argonauts.
