Buccaneers cut Brandon Magee; expected to pursue baseball career

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers released linebacker Brandon Magee on Wednesday, Scott Smith of Buccaneers.com announced.
Magee played on special teams last season, making nine tackles in nine appearances. He suffered a season-ending pectoral injury in Week 14.
Magee is now pursuing a baseball career as a member of the Red Sox organization. He will reportedly travel to join the team at its minor-league complex Wednesday.
