Troy Taormina / USA TODAY Sports

Every Friday, theScore's NFL editors will bring you a roundup of everything you need to know from around the division with the AFC South Notebook.

Indianapolis Colts

Colts suggest nine-point touchdown. With the NFL reviewing a number of proposed rule changes, the Colts submitted one from the theater of the absurd: an amendment that would make it possible to score nine points on a touchdown.

Luck draws Johnson to Indianapolis. Andre Johnson, one of the Colts' major free-agent signings, said that Andrew Luck was the main reason why he signed with Indianapolis.

Colts sign former college basketball player. Looking outside of conventional means to improve its roster, Indianapolis signed former college basketball player Demarco Cox to play offensive tackle.

Houston Texans

Watt can't do it all. It appears that two-time Defensive Player of the Year J.J. Watt isn't superhuman, after all. Watt failed to clear a 5-foot-1 box jump while training. Have no fear Texans fans, Watt should still have the NFL on notice next season.

Wilfork joins Texans. Houston's defensive line could be downright terrifying next season after signing defensive tackle Vince Wilfork, who has spent the entirety of his career with the New England Patriots. The five-time Pro Bowler should free up Watt in space.

O'Brien meets with combine star. Chris Conley put together an outstanding performance at the NFL Scouting Combine, and Texans head coach Bill O'Brien went to meet with him at Georgia's pro day.

Jacksonville Jaguars

Jaguars claim Pierce off waivers. Bernard Piece was released by the Baltimore Ravens after a DUI, but the Jacksonville Jaguars found an opportunity to improve its running game, signing Pierce on Thursday.

Lamping receives five-year extension. Jaguars president Mark Lamping received a five-year extension Wednesday, winning a vote of confidence from owner Shad Khan.

Shorts pens farewell to fans. Cecil Shorts III signed with the Houston Texans, but was sure to thank Jaguars fans for their support upon his departure

Tennessee Titans

Titans sign Stingily: The Tennessee Titans agreed to terms with offensive tackle Byron Stingily on Thursday

Winston to workout for Titans: Jameis Winston is expected to be a top-two selection in the upcoming NFL draft, and the Titans scheduled a private workout with the 2013 Heisman Trophy winner.

Titans all in on March Madness: Tennessee has players who played for a wide range of NCAA schools, and they're actively engaged watching March Madness, rooting for their alma maters
