Report: Peyton Manning could decide on future as early as this week

It appears Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning won't keep the football world waiting very long before deciding on his future.

Still determining whether or not to return for an 18th career season, Manning could reach a decision as soon as this coming week, according to ESPN's Chris Mortensen.

The Broncos would certainly welcome Manning back if he decides to return, as the 38-year-old proved more than capable of playing at an All-Pro level when healthy in 2014.

Manning reportedly met with new head coach Gary Kubiak last week and has previously said that he doesn't want this process to linger too far into the offseason.
