Carolina Panthers defensive end Frank Alexander has been suspended for the next 10 games for violating the NFL's substance abuse policy, the team announced Wednesday.
Alexander is coming off a previous suspension for the same infraction that caused him to miss the first four games of the season.
The 2012 fourth-round pick will be eligible to return to the Panthers' roster on Dec.15.
