The Miami Dolphins opened the NFL's 2014 series of London games with a 38-14 blowout win over the Oakland Raiders, rebounding nicely from a difficult two weeks. After an opening-drive touchdown from the Raiders' offense, the Dolphins took control in every phase of the game, dominating until the final whistle.

Here's what you need to know . . .

  • Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill put together his most impressive performance of the season after a week full of questions about his status as starter, completing 23-of-31 passes for 278 yards and two touchdowns.
  • The Dolphins totaled 157 rushing yards, with Lamar Miller's 64 yards and two touchdowns leading the way.
  • Pressure from the Dolphins' defensive front made things difficult for quarterback Derek Carr and the Raiders' offense, as the rookie passer would complete just 16-of-25 for 146 yards and one interception.
  • An injury forced Carr out of the game in the third quarter, and post-game reports indicate that he has been diagnosed with both a high ankle sprain and a sprained MCL.
  • To cap off their dominant effort, the Dolphins' defense notched two more interceptions after Carr's departure to give them three on the day, while tacking on a 50-yard touchdown return of a fumbled Raiders snap.
  • Dolphins left tackle Branden Albert left the game with a shoulder injury and did not return.
