When the New Orleans Saints made it public receiver Brandin Cooks was available through trade, a list of suitors came forward. Among them was the Tennessee Titans, who offered to trade their No. 5 overall pick in this year's draft and a third-round pick for the Saints' No. 11 pick and Cooks, Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk reports, citing a source.

Ultimately, the Saints chose to send the speedy wideout and a fourth-round pick to the New England Patriots for their No. 32 overall pick and a third-round selection.

Titans general manager Jon Robinson has made it clear the team is "open for business" with the top-five pick they acquired from the Los Angeles Rams last year.
