Titans 'open for business' with No. 5 draft pick
The Tennessee Titans are no strangers to trading high draft picks.
After swapping the first overall pick to the Los Angeles Rams a season ago, Titans general manager Jon Robinson said Wednesday at the scouting combine he's open to trading the team's No. 5 overall pick this year as well.
"We're open for business," Robinson said, according to Jason Wolf of The Tennessean.
The Titans acquired four draft picks for the No. 1 selection last year. Robinson said a trade of this year's first-round pick is more likely to come when the team is on the clock, Paul Kuharsky of ESPN reports.
The Titans improved by six wins last season and are likely looking to address the remaining roster holes with the collection of picks and assets their No. 5 draft slot could earn.
"We're excited to continue to build on the foundation we started last year," Robinson said.
