Ravens announce plan for $120M in stadium enhancements

The Baltimore Ravens will make some major upgrades to M&T Bank Stadium.

On Tuesday, the organization outlined official plans for a self-funded $120-million project that will enhance the fan experience over the next three years.

Phase one of the project will begin this offseason, when a pair of 4K ultra-high definition video displays will be installed to double the width of the current standard HD boards in place.

The final two phases will be carried out following the 2017 and 2018 campaigns, with upgrades including a new sound system, improved kitchen facilities, corner suites and video boards, club-level improvements, and escalators and elevators to the upper level.

"Not only will these improvements keep the stadium fresh, but they will enrich our gameday experience by delivering added convenience, entertainment and excitement," Ravens president Dick Cass said in a statement. "We constantly strive to create a 'wow' factor for our fans."

M&T Bank Stadium has been the Ravens' home since 1998.
