Report: Packers expect Adams, Allison to be ready for NFC title game

Kirby Lee / USA TODAY Sports

The Green Bay Packers expect wide receivers Davante Adams and Geronimo Allison to be ready to play in Sunday's NFC Championship Game against the Atlanta Falcons despite dealing with ankle and hamstring injuries, respectively, sources told NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

Adams will sit out of practice until Saturday due to his injury sustained in a divisional-round win over the Dallas Cowboys, while Allison missed Wednesday's training session.

With No. 1 receiver Jordy Nelson likely to miss his second straight game because of a rib injury, the Packers cannot afford to lose any more depth at the position.

Adams has produced a bounce-back season, recording nearly 1,000 yards receiving, and rookie Allison carved out a significant role in the Packers' offense over the final weeks of the regular season.
