Sherman apologizes for threatening to ruin reporter's career

Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman apologized after threatening to ruin a reporter's career following his press conference Tuesday.

Sherman wasn't pleased with reporter Jim Moore's line of questioning during the session, and entered into a heated discussion after he left the podium. Moore, who works for 710 ESPN Seattle, asked if Sherman could dial up a better play from the 1-yard line, after the cornerback once again critiqued his team's decision to do so during Thursday's win against the Los Angeles Rams.

The three-time All-Pro said he'd ruin Moore's career in response, by ensuring that his credentials would be revoked for future events.

Sherman offered an apology via Twitter later in the evening, noting that head coach Pete Carroll spoke to him about his threat to Moore:

Sherman was named to his fourth Pro Bowl shortly after his press conference ended.
