Redskins' Kory Lichtensteiger: Designated to return from IR

Lichtensteiger (calf) has been designated to return from injured reserve.

Analysis:

Lichtensteiger was originally placed on IR following the Redskins' Week 3 win over the Giants when he suffered the calf injury, but he'll be eligible to return during the last few weeks of the season. The team demoted cornerback Dashaun Phillips to the practice squad in order to help make room for Lichtensteiger on the active roster.
