Norman calls outs 'trolls and clowns' for social media jabs

Josh Norman's feuds are not just limited to the receivers he plays against.

Still dealing with the fallout from a postgame scuffle with Dez Bryant last Thursday, Norman had some harsh words for anyone calling him out on social media.

"Trolls and clowns. Trolls and clowns. When you're at the top, everyone's gunning for you. That's what happens," Norman said, according to ESPN's John Keim.

While he seems to attract conflict everywhere he turns, Norman also wants to avoid focus on his summertime feud with Arizona Cardinals cornerback Patrick Peterson as Sunday's game approaches.

"I can't get into it, man," Norman said. "Everybody wants to go against me for some reason. That was then; this is now."

Peterson went at Norman in July when the Washington Redskins cornerback was getting burned by teammates in training camp, taking a shot at Norman's "Madden 17" rating on Twitter.

Peterson was rated No. 4 at their position, while Norman got the No. 1 spot. The Redskins cornerback responded a few days later.

"That guy? Come on, man," said Norman. "Be No. 4 and be happy. Come on, don't talk about me, I'm not talking about you."
