Josh Norman may have still been a little too hot to talk to the media after Thursday's postgame scuffle with Dez Bryant.

The Washington Redskins cornerback seemingly told reporters that after the Dallas Cowboys' 31-26 win, Bryant threatened Norman, saying, "Where I come from, we unload the clip." Bryant denied the claim on Twitter soon after a video was posted.

Norman initially confirmed to the Washington Post that Bryant did threaten him, but on Monday, backtracked his claim, clarifying that the Cowboys receiver did not utter the phrase. Norman said he meant it as a metaphor to describe himself giving it all on the field.

The Redskins corner has a reputation of being less composed after a loss than a win, and once he had time to settle down by Monday, Norman played down the scuffle and comments.

"It really wasn't a situation," said Norman. "It was a game. We lost. They won. That was it."

When initially speaking with the media Thursday, it was unclear whether Norman meant his "unload the clip" comments as those made by Bryant or if that was his response to Bryant getting in his face. Later in the response, Norman used the same metaphor to describe his playing style.

"I'm gonna unload the clip all the way out til the end of the game."
