Bills' Shaq Lawson: Still no timetable

While Lawson continues to recover well from his May shoulder surgery, there's still no timetable for his return, The Buffalo News reports. "We're definitely optimistic," said coach Rex Ryan. "He's doing a great job. He's working extremely hard, so we're confident that at some point, we feel great that he will be back and contributing at some point during the year."

Analysis:

Lawson may become a good IDP candidate down the road, but his injury set him back too far this year and he shouldn't be on your radar yet, given the time he'll miss. The best the Bills can seemingly hope for is that he misses a handful of games and then indoctrinates himself into the lineup quickly, as the team already has a number of injury issues on defense.
