Report: Georgia Tech, Vanderbilt courting Valparaiso's Bryce Drew

Joe Maiorana / USA TODAY Sports

Georgia Tech and Vanderbilt appear to have turned their attention toward Valparaiso's Bryce Drew in their continued search to find new head coaches.

Both the Yellow Jackets and Commodores have reached out to the fifth-year boss, who's a leading candidate to fill the coaching vacancy at either program, a source told CBS Sports' Gary Parrish.

Drew is fresh off leading his team to the NIT title game, where the Crusaders fell to George Washington. Drew has assembled a 124-49 record in his five seasons with Valparaiso.

Georgia Tech and Vanderbilt were both rumored to have reached out to Duke assistant Jeff Capel late in March.
