Romelu Lukaku: 'Ultimate dream' to play club football with brother

Romelu Lukaku says it would be the "ultimate dream" to play at club level with younger brother Jordan following their successful link-up on the international stage.

The first time that the siblings represented Belgium together, left-back Jordan assisted forward Romelu with a delicious cross, and the latter believes this could be a successful union if utilised regularly in domestic duty.

"The ultimate dream would be to do that in the same club," Romelu told Belgian newspaper La Derniere Heure according to ESPN FC.

Jordan, 21, currently plies his trade with KV Oostende in the Belgian Pro League while Romelu, who is 14 months older, is free-scoring for Everton but has been linked with a move away from Merseyside this summer.

"No, I'm not going to call (Oostende president) Marc Coucke in order to move to Oostende. It's rather Jordan who's going to join me."

Jordan earned his first Belgium cap last October and has previously stated that he would be willing to find a new club at the end of the season. Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea are apparently interested in the young full-back, who has played in 26 league matches this term.
