The Buffalo Sabres signed forward Eric Cornel to an entry-level contract, the team announced Friday.
The 19-year-old was selected by the Sabres in the second round of the 2014 NHL Entry Draft. He recently completed his fourth OHL season with the Peterborough Petes, recording a career-best 83 points in 68 games.
This week, the Sabres signed a pair of college players to entry-level contracts, forward Hudson Fasching and defenseman Casey Nelson, who will both make their NHL debuts Saturday.
