Top Options
Name | Opponent | Value |
---|---|---|
Paul George (IND) | vs. NO | 9 |
LeBron James (CLE) | at BKN | 8 |
George gets the edge thanks to a slightly lower salary and the fact that James will be on the second of a back-to-back set. Against a depleted New Orleans squad, George should be able to use both his size and shooting ability to post big-time numbers.
As stated, James will be playing his second game in as many nights after taking on Milwaukee in Cleveland on Wednesday. A matchup against Brooklyn is obviously beneficial, but DFS players should be wary of LeBron seeing reduced minutes and/or a Cavaliers blowout.

Best of the Rest
Name | Opponent | Value |
---|---|---|
Kevin Durant (OKC) | vs. UTA | 6 |
Carmelo Anthony (NY) | vs. CHI | 6 |
Gordon Hayward (UTA) | at OKC | 6 |
Luke Babbitt (NO) | at IND | 6 |
Doug McDermott (CHI) | at NY | 6 |
Al-Farouq Aminu (POR) | at LAC | 5 |
Dante Cunningham (NO) | at IND | 5 |
Durant has one of the highest prices at SF on Thursday. Unfortunately, he also plays Utah who limits both opponent scoring and the overall pace of each game they play. To make things worse, Durant has only averaged 26.3 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 3.3 against the Jazz this year. It seems unlikely that he puts up the numbers needed to return value on his whopping salary.
Hayward is best served as a cash game play considering his scoring ability and propensity to provide a useful amount of rebounds and assists. An up-tempo opponent in Oklahoma City should help.
Babbitt has been elevated into heavy minutes with almost nobody left to play for New Orleans. The former 16th overall pick has combined for 37 points and 12 rebounds over his last two games. At a bargain price, he makes for a functional roster filler.
