Craig Mitchelldyer / USA TODAY Sports

Here are theScore's shooting guard value rankings for Thursday, March 24:

Value Rankings
PG | SG | SF | PF | C

Top Options

Name Opponent Value
C.J. McCollum (POR) at LAC 8

The SG pool is unbearably thin Wednesday night. McCollum stands a hair above the rest thanks to his consistent scoring. Damian Lillard's backcourt partner has scored at least 22 points in his last three games and has connected on 11-of-21 3-pointers over that stretch.

Best of the Rest

Name Opponent Value
Monta Ellis (IND) vs. NO 7
J.J. Redick (LAC) vs. POR 7
Iman Shumpert (CLE) at BKN 6
Sean Kilpatrick (BKN) vs. CLE 6
Jimmy Butler (CHI) at NY 6
Rodney Hood (UTA) at OKC 6
Jamal Crawford (LAC) vs. POR 6
J.R. Smith (CLE) at BKN 6
Bojan Bogdanovic (BKN) vs. CLE 6
Gerald Henderson (POR) at LAC 5
Langston Galloway (NY) vs. CHI 5

Ellis has a fantastic matchup against the Pelicans. In addition, the Pacers guard is playing some some well-rounded ball of late with averages of 11.6 points, 5.8 assists, and 5.2 rebounds over his last five games.

Shumpert is not an exciting choice, but he his averages of five points, five rebounds, and 2.6 rebounds are actually enough to return satisfactory value on his near basement salary.

Butler has been mediocre averaging 15.2 points, six rebounds, and 4.4 rebounds over his last five. Stats like that simply won't cut it at his price. Though he has big-game potential

Bogdanovic's salary has been steadily rising over his last 10 games. A matchup against a respectable Cavaliers defense limits his upside.
