Zlatan Ibrahimovic broke his silence over his future with French champions Paris Saint-Germain, saying that he currently does not see himself returning to the club next season.

The 36-year-old indicated that his future with the capital city team is entering its final stage, after PSG clinched its fourth consecutive Ligue 1 title with a 9-0 thrashing of Troyes on Sunday.

"For the moment, I will not be at PSG next season," Ibrahimovic admitted to beIN Sports. "I still have a month and a half left here.

"If they replace the Eiffel Tower with a statue of me, then I will stay. I promise."

Meanwhile, PSG president Al-Khelaifi expressed his desire to retain Ibrahimovic, and revealed the club intends to hold talks with the French league's leading scorer.

"Paris is magic, Ibra is magic. We want Zlatan to stay," he said. "We will speak with him."

Ibrahimovic has been linked with several teams around Europe, including a possible move to the Premier League, where he has yet to play during his illustrious career.
