Zlatan Ibrahimovic is willing to listen to offers from the Premier League, as his spell with Paris Saint-Germain looks to be nearing a close.

The Swede's contract in the French capital ends this summer with no fresh offer received, spurring speculation around the subject of his next potential destination - with the Serie A among those that the 34-year-old hasn't ruled out.

But Ibrahimovic appears to have taken a particular interest in England, and according to the Guardian's Dominic Fifield, made efforts to seek out the country's media after his goal-scoring performance against Chelsea on Tuesday.

Talk quickly turned to Ibrahimovic's future, with the striker saying: "I have another three months here and, then, what will happen? Big things will happen. So let's see."

When asked if those big things could occur in the Premier League, Ibrahimovic replied: "Let's just say I am in good shape."

The forward is touted to spend his career swansong in Miami, with former teammate David Beckham's franchise hopefully joining Major League Soccer for its inaugural season in 2018 and Ibrahimovic purchasing a luxury development in Florida due to be completed in 2017. In the meantime, it is believed Ibrahimovic would like a year-long stay with another elite European club.

He already boasts Malmo, Ajax, Juventus, Inter Milan, Barcelona, AC Milan, and PSG on a glittering curriculum vitae, and Manchester United is one of the potential names that could be added to that list - renewing a rivalry across the city with incoming Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola.

For now, Ibrahimovic's focus is on securing a quarter-final berth in the Champions League. Incredibly, the tournament serves as an honour that has alluded him over his career and although he appreciates the quality of Chelsea, he believes that PSG is close to progression after recording a 2-1 home win in midweek.

"We have a second leg to play and anything could happen. But we will be confident going to London. If we play the way we did in Paris, we are confident of going through."
