Report: Ibrahimovic to shelve MLS plans for Manchester United

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is expected to keep Major League Soccer waiting and instead opt for one last spell in Europe with Manchester United.

The Red Devils could face competition from Ibrahimovic's former club AC Milan, according to L'Equipe's Guillaume Dufy, but England is widely tipped as the Swede's preferred destination.

The Paris Saint-Germain forward's contract expires at the end of the campaign, and despite turning 35 next October, the effervescent forward apparently eyes one more big move before his career dwindles down in North America or China.

If the claims from agent and incessant mouthpiece Mino Raiola are to be believed, Ibrahimovic has already made a decision about his future.

"We know what we want but we won't say anything until the summer when the season is over," Raiola told the Swedish newspaper Expressen via the Guardian.

"We have a clear idea of what we want to do. I know what he's counting on doing but we don't want you to know for the moment."

Should Ibrahimovic choose to join another club in Europe or remain at PSG, it's expected to be his final contract on the continent before he joins former teammate David Beckham's MLS franchise in Miami, which is hoped to be ready for the 2018 campaign.

Les Parisiens travel to Troyes on Sunday with the opportunity to bag the Ligue 1 title with a victory, despite eight matches remaining after the game.
