Here are the top linemate plays for Friday, March 4:

C Brandon Dubinsky and RW Cam Atkinson, Blue Jackets (vs. Oilers)

The Blue Jackets have won two of their past three games, while Edmonton has won three in a row. That said, the Oilers will be on the second half of a back-to-back, tilting the odds in Columbus' favor.

Dubinsky has been hovering right around value on a nightly basis, causing a recent jump in his price. He has one goal and three assists in his past five games, registering four shots on goal on two occasions. Atkinson has twice registered five SOG in his past four games, scoring his last time out.

C Jason Spezza and RW Valeri Nichushkin (vs. Devils)

The high-priced duo of C Tyler Seguin and W Jamie Benn should be avoided due to a difficult matchup against Devils G Cory Schneider. Taking Spezza and Nichushkin offers exposure to Dallas' dangerous offense, while their prices lower the risk in the event of a struggle.

The normally pass-happy Spezza has 20 SOG in his past six games, with four goals. Nichushkin has two goals and one assist over that stretch, with a total of 13 SOG in his past three games.

C Connor McDavid and RW Nail Yakupov, Oilers (at Blue Jackets)

Though LW Taylor Hall returned to the score sheet with a goal on Thursday, his well documented road struggles mean he should be faded Friday. McDavid continues to steadily produce, scoring two goals and two assists with nine SOG in his past three games.

Yakupov's low salary helps offset McDavid's top-tier price. Yakupov has looked much better since the duo was reunited, scoring his sixth goal of the season Thursday and registering eight SOG over his past two games. The matchup in Columbus bodes well for plenty of offense.
