Sunday's Winger Value Rankings

Eric Hartline / USA TODAY Sports

Here are theScore's winger value rankings for Sunday's six-game slate.

Value Rankings

Top Options

Name Opponent Value
Jarome Iginla (COL) at VAN 8
David Perron (ANA) vs. CGY 8
Mats Zuccarello (NYR) vs. DET 7
Artemi Panarin (CHI) at MIN 7
Jeff Skinner (CAR) vs. TB 7

Iginla has been turning back the clock with at least a point in six of seven games prior to Saturday. The Canucks have lost their last four games by identical 5-2 margins, boding well for Iginla to add to his 17 goals on the season. As a former Calgary Flame, he knows Vancouver well.

His four-game point streak was snapped Thursday, but Perron should get right back at it against the Flames, who allowed six goals to Anaheim on February 15.

Panarin isn't cheap by any means. But with four multipoint efforts in his last five games, he's been regularly returning value. The Blackhawks and Wild play outdoors in Minnesota, making gameflow difficult to predict.

The Red Wings' defense has seemingly been abandoned as the team has allowed 15 goals over the last three games. Zuccarello, with multipoint nights in three of his last four, looks primed to take advantage.

Skinner has five goals and four assists over his last 10 games, while also shooting 3.4 times per contest.

Best of the Rest

Name Opponent Value
Nikita Kucherov (TB) at CAR 7
Corey Perry (ANA) vs. CGY 7
Evander Kane (BUF) vs. PIT 7
Ryan O'Reilly (BUF) vs. PIT 7
Daniel Sedin (VAN) vs. COL 7
Johnny Gaudreau (CGY) at ANA 6
Zach Parise (MIN) vs. CHI 6
Phil Kessel (PIT) at BUF 6
Patrick Kane (CHI) at MIN 6

Gaudreau, Parise and Kessel certainly have the talent to explode, but don't have ideal matchups in which to live up to their price tags.

Patrick Kane has one multipoint game in his last 13 - at his elevated price, it's impossible to return value with just a single goal or assist.

The prospects of O'Reilly and Evander Kane would be improved should Pittsburgh backup Jeff Zatkoff be forced into a second straight for the ill Marc-Andre Fleury.

Nothing to See Here

Name Opponent Value
Gabriel Landeskog (COL) at VAN 5

Despite a favorable matchup, Landeskog has been slumping, with just two assists in seven games prior to Saturday. Iginla makes a better (and cheaper) Avalanche representative.
