Tyler Ennis' upper-body injury has officially been classified as a concussion.
This according to Buffalo Sabres general manager Tim Murray, who revealed the exact nature of the injury Tuesday on WGR 550, according to Mike Harrington of the Buffalo News.
Murray added Ennis is still struggling with symptoms while slowly increasing his exercise schedule.
The injury was suffered on Dec. 30 on a massive hit delivered by Alex Ovechkin.
Ennis recorded three goals and eight assists in 23 games earlier this season.
