Peyton Manning noncommittal on playing future at Opening Night

Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning was immediately asked whether Super Bowl 50 will be his last game, and he still doesn't have a satisfying answer.

"I don't know the answer to that question right now," Manning told Marshall Faulk during Super Bowl 50 Opening Night, going on to say: "I haven't made my mind up. I am staying in the moment and the task at hand."

The future Hall of Famer also addressed his 2011 neck surgery and how its affected his arm strength, something he hasn't talked much about.

"My arm is what it is," Manning said. "Honestly my having a little time off to heal my foot helped some of the other parts...My arm feels OK. My arm has not been the same since I was injured four years ago...If I could throw left handed it would be a lot easier...It's just different than it was...It's got a few yards on it, miles on it, however you want to say it."

Manning has consistently put off acknowledging his retirement all season, deciding to wait to make any announcements. Reports have surfaced indicating Manning is leaning towards quitting at season's end, telling close friends Super Bowl 50 would be his last game.

After addressing the obvious hot-button issue, Manning joked about another issue, his newfound running ability. Much like his counterpart Cam Newton, Manning says he would celebrate if he scores.

"I don't run much," Manning said. "If I run in a touchdown I will celebrate. But Carolina might have spy on me"
