Lorient signs Jimmy Cabot from Troyes
With the near-certainty of relegation on the horizon, Troyes has sold one of its standout players in an effort to profit form a dismal campaign, with young attacker Jimmy Cabot joining Lorient.
Cabot joins the Bretons Lorient on a four-and-a-half-year contract with a medical scheduled for Monday, Lorient announced Saturday.

The versatile attacker, who has plied his trade both on the left wing and up top, has scored three goals in 15 appearances this season, and six times in 53 matches for the Aube-based Troyes.
Cabot, 21, joined Troyes' youth setup in 2009, and will forever be remembered for his role in last season's Ligue 2 win and for scoring a dazzling brace against Lille in a 3-1 victory, the club's only win this season in 22 attempts.
