Rick Nash will get some extra time to rest his knee.
On Monday, the New York Rangers forward underwent an MRI, which revealed a bone bruise, according to head coach Alain Vigneault. While he's expected to be good to go following the All-Star break, the left winger will be held out of Monday's contest against the Buffalo Sabres.
Nash, who also missed Sunday's loss in Ottawa with the ailment, sits second in the Rangers' scoring with 12 goals and 21 assists in 45 games.
