Here are theScore's center value rankings for Monday's six-game slate.

Value Rankings
C | W | D | G

Top Options

Name Opponent Value
Sam Bennett (CGY) at DAL 8
Claude Giroux (PHI) vs. BOS 7
Patrice Bergeron (BOS) at PHI 7

Bennett's scored at least one goal in four of his last six games, with eight goals altogether in that stretch. His 32% shooting percentage in January is unsustainably high, but at his price, he has a lot of upside.

Giroux had three assists against Boston in mid-January, with those points among the seven he's compiled in the last five games.

Bergeron's not cheap, but he has a four-game point streak and 18 shots in that span as well.

Best of the Rest

Name Opponent Value
Lars Eller (MTL) at CLB 7
J.T. Miller (NYR) vs. BUF 7
David Krejci (BOS) at PHI 6
Tomas Plekanec (MTL) at CLB 6
Derek Stepan (NYR) vs. BUF 6
Brock Nelson (NYI) vs. DET 6
Henrik Zetterberg (DET) at NYI 6
Jason Spezza (DAL) vs. CGY 6
John Tavares (NYI) vs. DET 5
Pavel Datsyuk (DET) at NYI 5

The inexpensive Eller's had at least two shots in each of his last eight games, as well as two points and four blocks in his last three games. He plays on an offensive-minded third line with Tomas Fleischmann and Daniel Carr.

Tavares seems to be coming around with four points and 17 shots in his last four games, but he's still too expensive to have much faith in, particularly against the red-hot Petr Mrazek. His teammate, Nelson, meanwhile, has gone pointless in two games (despite 11 shots) since scoring four times in the two games prior, and is a more budget-friendly Islander selection.

Nothing to See Here

Name Opponent Value
Jack Eichel (BUF) at NYR 4
Tyler Seguin (DAL) vs. CGY 4

Eichel has managed three points in as many games, despite just four shots. A likely matchup against G Henrik Lundqvist isn't advantageous for him and the low-scoring Sabres.

Seguin has just three points in his last 10 games, and while the Stars can always explode offensively, they actually lost twice to Calgary in December, scoring just four goals.
