Confirming reports from late last week, Saint-Etienne has signed winger Oussama Tannane from Dutch side Heracles.
Tannane, 21, joins Les Verts on a four-and-a-half-year contract that expires June 2020, the club announced Tuesday.
The former Heerenveen player has seven goals in 11 Eredivisie appearances this season, coupled with two tallies in the Dutch Cup for Heracles.
The acquisition of the Ajax academy product marks Saint-Etienne's second purchase of the festive transfer window following the signing of forward Alexander Soderlund from Rosenborg.

The Loire side is gearing up for a Champions League push sitting seventh on 29 points, four adrift of third-place Monaco and a coveted continental berth.
