After losing both left-hander Wei-Yin Chen to the Miami Marlins and outfielder Gerardo Parra to the Colorado Rockies on Tuesday, the Baltimore Orioles are stepping up to try to make some moves of their own.

Baltimore is involved in "ongoing trade talks" with the Rockies about their surplus of available outfielders, reports Jon Morosi of FOX Sports.

After Parra signed a three-year, $26-million contract with Colorado, he joined a roster which already includes outfielders Carlos Gonzalez, Charlie Blackmon, Corey Dickerson, and Brandon Barnes.

The Rockies have reportedly engaged in trade talks about their outfielders on numerous occasions during the offseason, and Parra's addition only makes a trade more likely.

After hitting .271/.325/.540 with 40 home runs and 97 RBIs, the 30-year-old Gonzalez has the most value, though he's the most costly, with $37 million remaining on his contract, which is set to expire in two years.

Blackmon, 29, is no slouch however, posting a .287/.347/.450 slash line with 17 home runs and 43 stolen bases last season, while Dickerson owns a career hitting line of .299/.345/.534 across three big-league seasons.
