The market for Yoenis Cespedes has been slow to develop, but at least two teams have the outfielder high on their respective wish list.

The Chicago White Sox and Baltimore Orioles have reportedly emerged as leaders to land the Cuban slugger, according to Jesse Sanchez of MLB.com. He adds the Los Angeles Angels and San Francisco Giants are also in the mix, while the Texas Rangers are still monitoring the situation.

With the top free-agent pitchers having already been locked up, the same can not be said for the position-player market. Plenty of big names remain, especially in the outfield, with Jason Heyward the only premier player off the board.

It was reported earlier Tuesday that White Sox general manager Rick Hahn remains active in his search to add an outfielder. Avisail Garcia struggled last season, and the team traded Trayce Thompson to the Los Angeles Dodgers in a three-team deal to acquire Todd Frazier. The White Sox expect to contend next year, and adding another power bat to the lineup will help a club that finished last in the American League in homers in 2015.

The Orioles are also in need of a power bat with the likelihood that Chris Davis will not be returning. Davis bashed a team-leading 126 homers over the last three seasons, and adding Cespedes' bat would help alleviate some of the potential loss of Davis. Baltimore landed Korean free-agent outfielder Hyun soo Kim earlier this winter, but still need help in one of the corner spots.
