Alabama's Henry adds Walker Award to his collection
Marvin Gentry-USA TODAY Sports
Derrick Henry's great Thursday night continued, as the Alabama star took home the Doak Walker Award as the nation's top running back, to go along with winning the Walter Camp Award earlier in the day.
Henry becomes the second Alabama player to capture the Walker Award after Trent Richardson won it in 2011.
LSU's Leonard Fournette and Stanford's Christian McCaffrey were also up for the honor.
Henry led the FBS in rushing with 1,986 yards this season, and broke Herschel Walker's SEC record that had stood since 1981. His 23 touchdowns were also tops in the FBS.
