VIDEO: Foligno's fist connects with Beaulieu's face

Montreal Canadiens defenseman Nathan Beaulieu was trying to do right by his teammate, Tomas Fleischmann.

After Columbus Blue Jackets captain Nick Foligno caught Fleischmann with a questionable hit, his knee clipping the winger, Beaulieu summoned Foligno for a fight.

It didn't go so well for Beaulieu.

Along with the decisive victory, Foligno scored his second goal of the season, and first since Oct. 16.

Beaulieu left briefly after the bout, but remained in the game.
