Greg Hardy briefly changes Twitter bio to 'innocent until proven guilty'

Dallas Cowboys defensive end Greg Hardy changed his Twitter bio on Wednesday to suggest he's being discriminated against.

Jordan Heck of Sporting News tweeted a photo of Hardy's bio:

The bio has since been changed to lyrics from the 2Pac song "Hail Mary," and he also changed his name from "Perfection" to "Machiavelli Kraken."

Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett said he spoke with Hardy about the bio Wednesday morning, which resulted in it being changed. This is the second Twitter-related conversation the Cowboys coach has had with Hardy this season.

Hardy was convicted in July 2014 on charges of misdemeanor assault and communicating threats stemming from an altercation with ex-girlfriend Nicole Holder. He appealed the decision and had both charges dismissed after prosecutors said they were unable to locate Holder to testify.

The charges were recently expunged from Hardy's criminal record.

Hardy tweeted an apology for "what happened in past" after photos of Holder's battered and bruised body were released by Deadspin, but the bio change casts doubt on the sincerity of that message.
