After an 0-3-0 start to the season, everything is coming up Bruins.

Boston Bruins super-pest Brad Marchand was named the NHL's first star of the week Monday. Marchand tied for a league-best four goals last week and added two assists to help Boston collect three wins.

The Bruins now sit in third place in the Atlantic Division, just one point back of the Tampa Bay Lightning for second with three games in hand.

St. Louis Blues goaltender Jake Allen took home second star honors after guiding his team to a perfect record in three games. Allen recorded a 0.98 goals-against average, 0.963 save percentage, and a shutout against the Lightning, helping the Blues remain just a point back of the Dallas Stars for first place in the Western Conference.

Finally, despite his team's 1-2-0 record on the week, Edmonton Oilers forward Taylor Hall was able to snag third star honors after leading the NHL in scoring with two goals and seven points.

Hall had three multi-point games, including a one-goal, two-assist performance in the team's 5-4 loss to the Calgary Flames.
