Alex Rios made a highlight-reel catch in the first inning of Game 4, but it's the play he didn't make in the third that everyone will be talking about.

The Kansas City Royals right fielder took a few steps toward the dugout after catching Curtis Granderson's fly ball for the second out of the third, before quickly realizing the inning wasn't over. Picking up on Rios' gaffe, Wilmer Flores tagged up from third base to extend the New York Mets' lead to 2-0.

The Royals challenged Flores' run by arguing he left the base early, but replay officials determined there was not enough evidence to overturn the initial call.

Two innings earlier, Rios robbed Daniel Murphy of extra bases with a diving grab of a sinking line drive.
