Arizona Coyotes general manager Don Maloney confirms forward Joe Vitale will be out four-to-six weeks with a fractured orbital bone. He was placed on injured reserve earlier this week.
Vitale sustained the injury during a spirited fight with Boston Bruins defenseman Kevan Miller on Saturday, forcing him to the hospital for X-rays.
The 30-year-old tough guy was held pointless in his only game of the season.
