Toronto Blue Jays shortstop Troy Tulowitzki couldn't have picked a better time to record his first hit of the ALDS.

Mired in an 0-for-11 slump, Tulowitzki drove a 88-mph changeup from Texas Rangers reliever Chi Chi Gonzalez over the left-field wall for a three-run home run in Game 3 on Sunday.

"The bullpen was jumping out there, celebrating," Blue Jays closer Roberto Osuna said postgame. "He finally woke up, and we got him back."

The sixth-inning blast, which extended Toronto's lead to 5-0, helped break the game open after the Blue Jays continued to spoil chances. Toronto hit into a double play in four straight innings, including Chris Colabello's 3-2-3 double play the at-bat before Tulowitzki's blast.
