Hellas Verona had the lead against Roma for just five minutes.
Playing at right back, Alessandro Florenzi took his chance with a shot from outside the box and watched it fall through the arms of Verona goalkeeper Rafael.
Manager Rudi Garcia has managed to convert Florenzi into a de facto full-back from his original position as a winger for Roma. But the Roma native still has his sights set on goal.
