Report: Bills likely to part ways with OL coach Aaron Kromer

Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

Aaron Kromer's time with the Buffalo Bills appears to be nearing its end.

The Bills are likely to part ways with their newly hired offensive line coach after his July 12 arrest on a misdemeanor count of battery, according to Joe Buscaglia of WKBW Buffalo.

Upon arriving on the scene of the July incident, police were told Kromer and his son had confronted three minors over their use of beach chairs. Kromer allegedly pushed one of the boys to the ground and punched him in the face, threatening to "kill his family" if he went to police.

The Bills placed Kromer on indefinite leave shortly after the arrest. Vic Carucci of the Buffalo News reported Tuesday that Kurt Anderson would be promoted as his replacement in the event of a dismissal.

Kromer was hired by the Bills in January after a two-year stint as offensive coordinator with the Chicago Bears. He has a court date set for Aug. 12.
