It's been over a month since Evan Mathis was released by the Philadelphia Eagles, and while the Pro Bowl guard has attracted quite a bit of interest on the open market, he appears to be in no rush to make a decision.

During an interview with CBS Sports Radio on Wednesday, Mathis said that negotiations with interested teams are soon "going to ramp up."

"Exactly what my options are aren't as clear as they will be in a week or two," Mathis said, via Adam H. Beasley of the Miami Herald.

Drew Rosenhaus, Mathis's agent, said in June that 10 teams have expressed an interest in his client and that he was prepared to be patient and find the best fit. The Miami Dolphins, who have some questions marks along their interior offensive line, are rumored to be among those teams.
